OVERVIEW
Both listing agents and administrators have the ability to configure Offer Settings for a listing in BrokerBay.
This article will guide you through the process of setting up offer instructions as a listing agent, registering an offer on your listing, and managing offer notifications.

How to Configure Offer Settings
You can control how and when Showing Agents are able to register offers on your listing via the Offer Settings page.
- Locate your listing and click on its Offers tab.
- Select Offer Settings.
- Configure your Offer Instructions, Offer Submission Methods, and Online Registration Settings.
Managing Offer Registration Notification Settings
In your listing's Offer Settings, you will find a section to configure your Offer Registration Notification Settings and Offer Registration Email template.
By modifying these settings, you can choose whether showing agents are immediately notified of new registered offers or if you prefer to be the only one notified of new offers until you manually send notice to showing agents.
You can also select between sending the default Offer Registration template or create a more personalized message with smart tags and attachments.

How to Register an Offer on Behalf of a Showing Agent
Listing Agents have the ability to manually register offers on their listing on behalf of a Showing Agent.
- Locate your listing and select Register Offer.
- Use the Search tab to find and select the Showing Agent, or select the Manual tab to manually enter their information (if you cannot find them via the Search tab).
- Enter the irrevocability date and time.
- Attach an Offer Document (optional).
- Click Register.
- Next you'll be met with the Register Offer - Notification modal where you can edit the recipient list and the email template prior to confirming to Register Offer and delivering notifications.

- If set to Auto-Notify All Showing Agents, you'll see the showing agent list available for edit prior to sending.
- If set to Notify Listing Agents ONLY, you'll see the Notification Group set to Only Listing Agent. Once the offer is registered, should you decide later to send out notifications to showing agents you can do so manually via your offer's Manage Notifications button where you're provided the option to edit recipients.
- If set to Auto-Notify All Showing Agents, you'll see the showing agent list available for edit prior to sending.
How do I check if a showing agent received the offer notification?
Navigate to the listing and select the Offers tab. Click on the eyeball icon to the left of the offer. Under the Email Delivery Log tab, you'll be able to see the list of recipients along with the email's delivery status.
How do I reactivate an offer that has expired?
To restore an offer that has expired you need to update the offer in the Inactive Offers tab.
- Navigate to the Offers screen
- Click on the Inactive Offers tab
- Click Manage next to the offer you want to restore
- Change the irrevocability to a future date & time
- Click Update
The offer will become active again and move back into the Registered Offers tab.
I had set my offer settings to Notify Listing Agents ONLY - Can I edit the list of recipients on an offer notification?
Yes! If set to Notify Listing Agents ONLY, once the offer registered, should you decide later to send out notifications to showing agents you can do so manually via your offer's Manage Notifications button where you're provided the option to edit recipients.
Where can I find an offerβs history?
Offer History logs can be found at the bottom of the individual offer screen after clicking the blue Manage button.
