Getting There: Admin tab β Manage Users β "+ Add User" / "Delete User"
OVERVIEW
While our platform has a host of automated tools to help, the management of user accounts within the BrokerBay platform is a responsibility handled by each brokerage's admin staff. This includes adding new users and deleting obsolete users.
This article will explain how to add new user accounts from scratch and delete user accounts that are no longer needed.

How to delete a user's account
When an agent or admin leaves your brokerage, you will have to delete their user account.
- Navigate to the Admin tab β Manage Users
- Click "Delete User" in the dropdown menu next to the user's name.
This will move their account to the Deleted tab. BrokerBay keeps deleted users archived in case administrators need access to their information in the futureβhowever, deleted accounts cannot be restored.
TROUBLESHOOTING & FAQS
Why is the "Save Changes" button greyed out?
These buttons will remain greyed out until all mandatory profile fields have been filled. Ensure that all user information has been entered, using "-" to fill unneeded mandatory fields, and the button should become interactive.
What is a primary board?
The board that the agent primarily uses to list properties and book showings. If an agent is only a member of one board, then that board is their primary one. If an agent is a member of multiple boards, their primary board is the one they most often use to conduct business.
What does it mean when an agent is "Unverified"?
You will see the below warning displayed on an agent's profile if that agent is unverified.
An agent can be unverified for a variety of reasons, including:
- The agent's member ID or board is incorrect in their profile
- The agent's license is currently parked
- The agent belongs to an office that has not yet been added to your listing feed
- (For TRREB agents) The DLA associated with that office has lapsed
If you have confirmed that the above scenarios don't apply to this agent, please reach out to support@brokerbay.com for assistance!
