⚠️ With MFA, your BrokerBay password won’t be required for the web platform. You’ll still need it for the mobile app. For more information on password usage on the web platform versus mobile app, refer to our general MFA article.
MLS authentication
If your account supports MFA through your MLS, you can use your existing MLS credentials to authenticate. Not all accounts and MLSs support authenticating through the MLS.
Existing BrokerBay users
- Sign in to https://edge.brokerbay.com using your BrokerBay email. You’ll be taken to your MLS login page.
- Members with multiple MLSs in one BrokerBay account need to authenticate with just one MLS.
- Separate BrokerBay accounts for different MLSs require individual sign-ins and authentications.
- Sign in with your usual MLS username and password. After authenticating, you’ll see your BrokerBay dashboard.
You may be asked to re-authenticate based on certain activity or session criteria, such as when you’re on a new device, or after you’ve been signed in for multiple weeks.
New BrokerBay users
If you’re a new BrokerBay user and your account supports MFA through your MLS, you’ll need to enable MFA through your MLS before you can set up your BrokerBay account.
- Check the email associated with your BrokerBay account for an email titled You are invited to join BrokerBay.
- If you didn't receive an email invite, follow the steps under New to your MLS? in our general MFA article.
- Select the link in the email to sign in to your MLS. This will link your existing MLS account to your new BrokerBay one.
- After authenticating through your MLS, it’s time to set up your BrokerBay account. Select Next.
- Make sure your account information is correct. Select Next again.
- Take some time to review the Acknowledgements. Select Create Account.
- Select Go to Dashboard to start using BrokerBay!
For subsequent sign-ins, follow the flow under Existing users. You won’t need to go through the account setup process again.
Available authentication methods
Your available authentication (verification) methods depends on your MLS. Contact your MLS directly if you have questions about how you can receive your verification codes.
