Getting There: Admin Queue → Unassigned tab
OVERVIEW
Seeing new listings appear in your brokerage platform without a listing agent? Any of these unassigned listings will be flagged in your Admin Queue for further management and for you to make any necessary adjustments.
This article will cover possible reasons to why a listing may have pulled into your brokerage unassigned and how to address them.
Dealing with Unassigned Listings
Why might a listing be unassigned?
- The MLS listing’s assigned agent does not yet have an account within your BrokerBay brokerage platform.
- The agent has a BrokerBay account but their selected board and/or Member Number is incorrect (this is how the listing associates with the agent when it pulls in from the board).
Let’s check the above to address any underlying issues! Enter your left-hand side menu’s Admin tab. Click the Manage Users tool and search for the listing agent by name.
If you’re able to locate the agent - enter their Profile page and verify that their board/association is correctly selected and that their Member Number aligns with their MLS profile.
If the information is incorrect, you’ll see a yellow warning. Make corrections to then see the green checkmark indicating it is verified by MLS data feeds.
If you cannot find the agent - create their account via the Manage Users page’s + Add User button. Add their correct member number and board.
Once you’ve addressed any agent profile issues, head back to your Admin Queue’s Unassigned tab and click the listing. Search and assign the listing agent.
You have now re-associated the listing to its correct agent. Moving forward, any new listings that this agent has should automatically be assigned to their profile.
