OVERVIEW

As a brokerage Administrator, you can configure offer settings on listings for your agents through BrokerBay.

When no instructions are provided, the system allows offers to be accepted at anytime.

Configuring offer settings

1. Locate the listing and navigate to the Offers tab.
2. Select Offer Settings.
3. Configure the following settings:
   1. Allow Offer Registrations: Master toggle for Offer Registration on BrokerBay. Turn OFF to prevent offers from being registered on the property.
   2. Allow showing agents to register offers: Enables agents to easily register offers online. These offers will then be visible to the listing agent and front desk. Turn OFF if you want agents to call the brokerage or Listing Agent when registering.
   3. Make Offer Doc attachment mandatory when registering online: Control whether offers must be registered with an offer document.
   4. Offer Docs submitted online MUST Be verified: Requires offers to first be validated by the listing agent and listing brokerage before automated notifications are sent out.

Offer registration notification settings

In a listing's Offer Settings, you'll find a section to configure the Offer Registration Notification Settings and Offer Registration Email template. These settings allow you to control who receives notifications about newly registered offers.

The system offers options to notify showing agents immediately or restrict notifications to the listing agent only. The listing agent can then manually notify showing agents later if desired.

You can verify offer notification delivery in the listing's Eyeball tool. The offers section contains an email delivery log, showing all notifications sent and any unsubscribed agents. This helps track offer receipt and resolve notification discrepancies.

If an offer is accidentally dismissed or a notification fails to send, the Message Agents tool can be used to manually send a notification message.

You can disable this within the Offer Settings page.

What do I do if I don't have offer instructions?

Listings default to Offers Accepted Anytime if you do not set specific offer instructions.
