OVERVIEW

As a brokerage admin, you have the ability to configure Offer Settings on behalf of your agents on their listings directly through BrokerBay.

This article will guide you through the process of setting up offer instructions and offer registration notification settings as an administrator.

How to Configure Offer Settings

When you've received paperwork, you'll want to transfer these details to the Offer Settings section so agents can view how to submit offers online. 

Control how and when Showing Agents can register offers on your listing via the Offer Settings page.

1. Locate the listing and click on its Offers tab.
   
   
   
2. Select Offer Settings.
   
   
   
3. Configure the listing’s Offer Instructions, Offer Submission Methods, and Online Registration Settings.
   

• • Allow Offer Registrations: Your master toggle for offer registration on BrokerBay. Toggle this setting ON to allow offers, or toggle it OFF to prevent offers from being registered on the property either online or by administrators.
    
    
  • Allow showing agents to register their own offers: This allows agents to easily register online, where their offer will then come to the listing agent and front desk to view. Turn this toggle off if you would like to force agents to call the brokerage / Listing Agent when registering.
    
    
  • Make Offer Doc attachment mandatory when registering online: Control whether offers should be registered with or without an offer doc.
    
    
  • Offer Docs submitted online MUST Be verified: When enabled, this precautionary measure necessitates that offers are first validated by the listing agent & listing brokerage, before automated offer notifications are sent out.

Offer Registration Notification Settings

In the listing's Offer Settings, you will also find a section to configure the listing’s Offer Registration Notification Settings and Offer Registration Email template.

By modifying these settings, you can choose whether showing agents are immediately notified of new registered offers or if only the listing agent is notified of new offers (the listing agent can send notice to showing agents at a later time manually should they wish).

You can also select between sending the default Offer Registration template or creating a more personalized message with smart tags and attachments.

ℹ️ This message will go out to all showing agents in the offer notification email.

Not to worry, you can disable this within the Offer Settings page.

What do I do if I don't have offer instructions?

Offers default to "Accepted Anytime" if you are not provided with instructions from your agent.
